Picture of the apartment...

So, I only have one picture so far of the apartment and it is from the street. (I stole it from Google Maps Streetview.) We are on the second floor in the back half so you can't see our windows from this angle. In front is a nice grassy spot that the puppies love for a quick potty break. The left side is fenced and once we took them in there, they decided it was theirs to protect. The first pedestrian that walked by got an earful.

I went to service today at the New Spirit Community Church which is held at the chapel on campus. They were celebrating the completion of the intern's year of field education with them. The sermon was about community the strength one gives and receives from being in community with at least one other person. To tie into that theme, they held communion at the very end of the service and made it into a potluck. People brought food to share and they were invited to serve food to one another.

Orientation tomorrow: learning how to register for classes and meeting the faculty. The madness begins!
